What’s new for FY’23
Exciting news: For the second year, Intuit is covering 100% of the cost increases for FY’23. As a result, we’re keeping your medical paycheck costs flat, reducing your dental and vision paycheck costs, and eliminating spousal and tobacco surcharges.
We’re also excited to introduce several new programs and enhancements in FY’23 to support your emotional health, provide additional family benefits, and help you save on health care. Unless otherwise noted, all changes take effect August 1, 2022.

No increases to your paycheck costs
No increases in paycheck costs for medical and a reduction in paycheck costs for dental and vision
Intuit will continue to invest in your benefits in FY’23, holding your costs steady. You will also see a decrease to your dental and vision paycheck costs. You can see your FY’23 biweekly paycheck costs in the FY’23 plan snapshot.
You can compare your paycheck costs from last year by logging into the Alight enrollment website.
More support for starting a family
There is no one path to parenthood, which is why Intuit is pleased to offer enhancements to the benefit plans that support your parenting journey—whichever path is right for you.
Virtual support for soon-to-be and new parents
Employees enrolled in any Intuit medical plan will have access to an exciting new family planning benefit through Maven, a digital health care platform that provides you and your spouse or domestic partner with free, unlimited access to holistic fertility support.
With Maven, you can get help with navigating preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum; fertility treatment, including IVF, IUI, and egg freezing; adoption; surrogacy; and returning to work after parental leave.
You’ll have access to on-demand virtual appointments with top-rated providers, including ob-gyns, mental health specialists, prenatal nutritionists, lactation consultants, and career coaches; your own Care Advocate who can provide personalized, one-on-one support; and a library of content tailored to your needs.
If you’re thinking about starting a family, be sure to enroll in an Intuit medical plan so you’ll have access to the family support benefits available through Maven.
Lifetime max increase for fertility-related prescription drugs
Under the Cigna Select PPO, the lifetime max for prescriptions that treat infertility and support elective egg freezing is increasing from $7,500 to $10,000.
Enhancements to your medical, dental, and vision care
Contribute more to your Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
The annual maximum you can contribute to your Health Care FSA is increasing from $2,750 to $2,850.
Vision enhancement: frame allowance increase and coverage for computer glasses
The allowance for frames is increasing from $180 to $200. We’re also adding new coverage for frames for computer glasses, with a $200 allowance and a $1,500 allowance toward LASIK.

Enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Intuit is committed to making mental health a priority, which is why we’re excited to announce an enhanced EAP service with a new partner, Lyra Health. The Lyra mental health benefit provides several confidential support options, including therapy, coaching, and unlimited access to digital tools for you and your dependents. Lyra can help you navigate issues like stress, anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship challenges, and more.
Meet with top coaches and therapists via live video, live messaging, phone, or in person. Get matched to providers based on your particular needs, schedule appointments online, and track your symptoms and progress.
You, your spouse, and your dependents age two and older will have access to 12 coaching or therapy sessions per plan year, at no cost to you. After your free sessions are completed, Cigna medical plan members can continue seeing a Lyra therapist, at no cost to you, through the health plan.
More information about Lyra, including how to register for their services, will be available in August 2022.
If you are currently receiving care from an Optum EAP provider: Lyra Health will replace Optum as your EAP provider effective August 1, 2022. Care with your Optum EAP counselor will end on August 1 and you’ll have the option to transition to a new provider under Lyra, who can work with your previous provider to transition care.
No cost for in-network behavioral health office visits
The Cigna Select PPO plan will pay 100% of the cost* of in-network office visits for mental health and substance abuse therapy.
Extended COVID-19 testing, treatment, and time-off benefits
You’ll continue paying nothing for testing and treatment
We’re extending our 100% coverage* for COVID-19 testing and treatment. We’re also continuing no-cost Teledoc telemedicine visits through the end of FY’23.
Extension of Supplemental Sick Time
Supplemental Sick Time will also be available through December 31, 2022.
Reminders and important deadlines
Don’t miss these dates
Flexible spending accounts (FSAs): The money you contribute to a Health Care FSA or Dependent Care FSA does not roll over from year to year. You have until October 31—three months following the end of the plan year—to submit claims for reimbursement for expenses incurred from August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2022. Per IRS guidelines, you will forfeit any money left in your account after this time.
